Accessibility statement

Last updated:

Castomo prosta spółka akcyjna undertakes to make castomapi.com accessible. This statement applies to the website at castomapi.com; the dashboard at app.castomapi.com is a separate application with its own statement.

Conformance

This website is designed to conform to WCAG 2.2 level AA and to EN 301 549. It is a self-assessment, made by the people who built the site with the site's own automated checks and a manual keyboard and screen-reader pass — not an independent audit. The known limitations below are what that assessment found.

What the site offers

  • Three colour themes — light, dark and high contrast (a separate palette at 7:1 or better with 2px rules, in a light and a dark cut) — following your system setting until you choose.
  • Text size in three steps, wider spacing (letter, word and line spacing per WCAG 1.4.12) and reduced motion, all in the accessibility panel on every page and remembered in your browser.
  • Read aloud — the "Listen" button reads the page with your browser's own voice, block by block, highlighting the block being read.
  • Keyboard first — a skip link, menus that open with Enter and close with Escape, a visible focus ring on every control in every theme, and no keyboard trap.
  • Structure — one heading per page level in order, landmarks, labelled controls, tables with headers, no glyph or emoji standing in for an icon, nothing under 14px.
  • The testers — the mock tester on each endpoint page announces its result in a live region and works entirely from the keyboard (Ctrl/⌘ + Enter sends).

Known limitations

  • Endpoint pages carry large generated tables of fields; on a narrow screen they scroll sideways inside their own container. The page itself never scrolls sideways.
  • Read-aloud depends on which voices your browser has installed; a page in Polish read by a browser with no Polish voice falls back to the default voice, and the status text says so.
  • Code samples are not read aloud, on purpose — spoken JSON is noise. They remain readable by a screen reader.
  • Every Polish endpoint description is translated, but the translations are machine-made and have not yet been read by a person. The build still marks any untranslated text as English and keeps such a page out of the Polish index, so a gap would show rather than pass as Polish.

How it was checked

Every built page is measured in a real browser at four widths and two heights, in all four palettes and with the largest text and widest spacing: horizontal overflow, text clipped inside a box that hides it, tap targets under 24px, contrast against the colour actually painted behind the text, heading order and list semantics. A static pass checks headings, labels, alternative text, language attributes and the size floor. The site is also run through the accessibility scanner the ecosystem sells at dostepnosc2025.pl. Finally a person walks every template with the keyboard and with VoiceOver.
